Qigong with Morning Crane

What is Qigong?

Qigong (chee-gung) is an ancient practice/exercise in Chinese Medicine to produce free flow energy within the body. The word "Qi" is for energy and "gong" means skill which as a whole is the mastering and learning the skill of your own energy. The practice consists of Five Element Qigong Meditations which introduces the five yin organs, the emotions which affect and cause trauma to each organ and healing sound techniques to remove stuck energy within. Five Elements Qigong provides internal rejuvenation, helps increase energy, eliminate pain, manage stress and release tension. Five Element Qigong focuses on balancing the Five Yin internal organs, to restore our vital energy and bring forth harmony. Qigong is a great way to teach empowerment and mastering our energy and emotions.

What do I teach in each class?

I begin with cleansing exercises which are very simple, easy, light to release tension within the body. Then, move into a Center & Balance meditation, where I will guide you to scan your body; front, back and center. This practice is for grounding, to bring your mind, body and soul into your present self. At the end of each session, I will finalize cleansing exercises for each organ in the body to release negative emotions. We end with another light meditation.
